THE OPPORTUNITY
We are offering a hands-on, immersive internship at our New York showroom for a design or business student from a top institution. You will work directly alongside the Director – USA Operations, gaining first-hand exposure to how a global luxury brand operates in one of the world’s most competitive design markets. This is not a back-office internship – you will be on the showroom floor, in client conversations, and involved in real business activity from day one.
WHAT YOU WILL DO –
- Support the Director with day-to-day showroom operations, client appointments, and trade visitor management, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s luxury standards.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, product look books, pricing proposals, and custom project documentation for trade and retail clients.
- Help coordinate sample requests, order follow-ups, and communication with the India HQ team on production and logistics updates.
- Contribute to market research on US interior design trends, competitor activity, trade shows, and potential new business opportunities.
- Support the planning and execution of showroom events, trade activations in USA region
- Maintain and update client databases, meeting notes, and sales tracking records to support the Director’s business management activities.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A current student or recent graduate (within the last 12 months) of a top design, interior design, or business school – institutions such as Parsons School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Pratt Institute, Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Cornell, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Genuine passion for luxury design, interiors, and craftsmanship – someone who is excited by the idea of working with a heritage brand and understanding how beautiful things are made and sold.
- Strong interpersonal presence and communication skills – comfortable engaging with clients, designers, and industry professionals in a high-end showroom setting.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn – able to handle multiple tasks with care and follow through reliably on all commitments.
- A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude who is comfortable working in a small, fast-moving team environment with real responsibilities.
