Our client, a well-known fashion brand, is seeking a Design Coordinator to support their team in New York! You will be completing design tasks in Adobe Suite and PLM and supporting with admin/ data entry.
You MUST live in/ be able to commute to NYC without relocation.
Responsibilities:
Fulfill all technical flat and CAD requests for Collection and development
Setup and manage updating design boards with fabric cards, sketches, and titles
Relay all comments regarding fabric submits and development samples
Organize all fabrics by category and keep track of fabric information
Handle all Design office upkeep, organization, etc.
Liaise between Design, Production and Merchandising
Ability and willingness to be flexible in assisting all other departments Assist in PLM data input
Qualifications:
Impeccable attention to detail and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to function independently as well as in a team-based environment
Team player with excellent written & communication skills and necessary follow through
Required in office five days a week
Upbeat, positive attitude and ability to be flexible
Proficient in Mac OS, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office
