Reporting to the Design Director, the Intern will provide vital support to the Design department. This role conducts research and assists the Designer in the creation of new product concepts in line with the overall product strategy for Denim.
Responsibilities
Print and prepare linesheet presentation boards
Color up linesheet cads
Make swatch color cards
Help set up design tech packs
Organize fabric headers
Attend fittings and take fit notes
Assist design in .ai sketching as needed
Research trend ideas relevant to categories
Minimum Qualifications
Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a must
Advanced visual and written communication skills
Some to advanced knowledge of fabrics across categories
Working towards a Degree in Fashion, similar related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications & Adobe suite
Proficient knowledge of garment construction and fit
$16 – $20 an hour
Please note that this role requires to be onsite four days a week.
