Job Description
Design Operations Assistant – Accessories
The Design Operations Assistant will assist in major seasonal design development and execution activities across all brands.
Key Accountabilities
Learn to create Tech Packs throughout the season
Learn to upload Tech Packs inclusive of spec pages and artwork for Sourcing
Learn to create Production Tech Packs as needed and upload as necessary
Gain understanding to be able to work directly with Design, Technical, and Sourcing on all seasonal style specifications
Attend and observe fittings and help ensure changes/updates are executed within Tech Packs and communicated to Sourcing/Overseas Offices
Participate in the creation of seasonal color palettes with Design and prepare color standards and facilitate sending these to Overseas Offices
Learn to handle daily communication with Overseas Offices/Factories to resolve issues in a concise and timely manner
Communicate on workload and elevate issues
Attend Daily Team meetings and Training sessions
Special projects as assigned
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities/Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development or related field
1+ years of experience in the fashion industry as an Assistant or Associate
Excellent Excel skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign)

Salary Description:
$50,000 – $55,000 yearly
