Savage X Fenty is currently looking for a Designer- Fashion Lingerie, based in Los Angeles.
How Do You Fit In?
The Designer is responsible for the creation, execution and management of the Fashion Lingerie collections. Your aesthetic should translate into designs that are clear, compelling & visually exciting. You’ll be able to clearly communicate creative ideas to both supervisors and stakeholders, collaborate on ideation with fellow designers, and work with the product development team to deliver solutions that are timely and effective. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners on the fit and execution of all products as well as work closely with merchant partners to understand customer needs and drive sales.
This position will report into the Sr Designer.

What you will do:
Design/create
Pull inspiration tears to create mood boards at the start of each season.
Stays abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in the lingerie space.
Design Bras, Bralettes, undies, Lingerie & accessories that scream our Savage X Fenty aesthetic!
Hand sketching and CAD skills a must
Brainstorm and partner with Graphic & print design on print, graphic & hardware ideas, as needed.
Travel to Asia, Europe as needed.
Be able to confidently present Design ideas to small and large groups.
Innovate and partner with R&D teams on new fabric & trim development.
Be an inspiring, energy-giving member of the team. Be positive. Be proactive.
Send out seasonal labdip requests
Team/collaborate
Partner with technical design & PD in the creation of tech packs as well as during fit sessions
Partner with pattern maker, as needed on 1st prototypes.
Work with sourcing team to execute high quality product within calendar timelines.
Follow up on all pre-production details: color, fabric, and trim; to ensure consistent with brand aesthetic.
Take ownership of projects from concept through production.
Take initiative to streamline and innovate processes to help make workflow more efficient.
Prepare presentation material for seasonal meetings with Fenty & Leadership team.
Housekeeping
Manage linesheet updates and ensure that they are regularly updated digitally & physically.
Well-versed in PLM systems. Ensure meticulous management of all styles in PLM.
Manage your time within the brand calendar, to ensure all major milestones are hit.

Knowledge
Have a great knowledge of lingerie fabrications, especially laces & embroideries.
Well-versed in Bra & undie fitting & be able to translate your vision & design aesthetic through fit & overall garment quality
What you can bring:
8+ years of design background with experience in Bra’s & undies
Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Incredibly creative and innovative with strong knowledge of intimates market
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity. You are solutions driven and an efficiency advocate as well as having an all hands-on deck mentality
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Detail oriented and organized.
BFA/ BA in Fashion Design.
