As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for our next designer to bring both an understanding of the cycling industry and experience in performance apparel design to a role where you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and design world class cycling apparel from ideation and concepting through to prototyping.
ABOUT YOU:
An experienced Designer, Apparel who has demonstrated ability in the areas of responsibility, ideally in performance cycling, sporting, or technical apparel.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Working with the Lead Designer, engaging in ahead of season concepting and sourcing work.
Understanding our product roadmap, participating in the Seasonal Roadmap Review meeting prior to seasonal design kick off.
Building on creative direction provided by the Lead Designer and interpreting seasonal design briefs provided by our Product Manager to create compelling concepts for allocated product stories.
Sourcing and developing all fabrics, trims, finishes, embellishment applications for each design, and taking ownership over each style’s bill of materials.
Sketching & technical CAD development.
Contributing to complex fittings, construction and garment finishes and attending fittings to drive design changes throughout the prototyping process.
Manage PLM system and updates to Illustrator and artwork files.
Update accurate technical design files and BOM information.
Tracking samples and fabric/trim development process.
