The purpose of this position is to design innovative commercially viable products that deliver value and style for the assigned consumer segment and distribution channel. This role must support development, evolution and communication of a brand look that deepens the brand value and identity.
About The Job
Design and contribute to seasonal graphic platforms and concepts
Identify consumer relevant product opportunities through market research
Create and research print techniques, placements, illustration styles, typographic and logo ideas which will inspires new product opportunities
Sustain partnerships with Merchandising, Apparel Design and Product Development to ensure products are driving commerciality, trend, aesthetic and quality goals
Execute direction given by senior designers and directors as part of the global guidelines
Collaborate with Design partners to understand key needs
Help coach junior designers
You will report to the Senior Designer of Men’s Graphics.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration or equivalent industry-related work experience
4+ years of experience as an apparel graphic designer
Expertise in creating commercially viable and profitable graphic designs and illustrations
Deep and demonstrated understanding of typography, composition, illustration, and color
Working knowledge of apparel graphics techniques and processes
Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities and daily tasks
High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Procreate
Experience working with 3D development tools such as CLO and/or Adobe Substance
Experience working with PLM & DAM systems
Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to stay nimble and grounded with last-minute changes
High level of judgment, tact and diplomacy
Curiosity towards learning new digital tools
Must demonstrate a positive, and helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS&Co.
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $78,800 to $120,900 per year.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
