Sam Malouf Authentic Luxury is a premier destination for men’s and women’s fashion in the Bay Area. We are looking for individuals open to working in one location or across multiple, with our flagship store in Burlingame, our women’s boutique in Presidio Heights, and our men’s boutique opening next door.

We take pride in delivering an exceptional shopping experience through personal styling, long-term client relationships, and a focused edit of top designers including Brunello Cucinelli, Kiton, Khaite, Chloé, Dries Van Noten, Sacai, Toteme, Giambattista Valli, Alexander McQueen, and more.
The Role:
- Act as a brand ambassador for Sam Malouf, delivering an elevated and memorable shopping experience.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing clients, focusing on both acquisition and retention.
- Assist clients in defining their personal style and building a wardrobe that suits their lifestyle and fashion preferences.
- Provide expert styling advice on designer brands, fits, and how to curate timeless and trend-forward looks.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, including designer collections, seasonal trends, and exclusive new arrivals.
- Offer honest and confident feedback regarding merchandise selection, style, and fit.
- Follow up on special orders and ensure client satisfaction through timely communication.
- Send thoughtful thank-you emails , texts or handwritten notes to cultivate client loyalty.
- Maintain a collaborative team environment, ensuring every customer feels valued and cared for.
- Take on additional responsibilities, including merchandising, inventory management, and event support for in-store and off-site fashion shows and trunk shows.
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for experienced, relationship-driven sales associates who understand luxury is as much about service as it is product. This role is for individuals who are confident, intuitive, and genuinely enjoy working with people.
You should bring:
- A strong sense of personal style and a real interest in luxury fashion
- The ability to build lasting client relationships through trust, consistency, and attention
- A self-starter mindset with strong follow-through and accountability
- Attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of designer brands, fit, and how to build a client’s wardrobe over time
- Clear, thoughtful communication—both in person and in writing
- Comfort with clienteling tools and tracking client preferences
- At least two years of experience in high-end retail sales preferred
- A good visual eye for merchandising and product presentation
This is a client-focused environment where relationships come first. The goal is not transactions, but long-term trust.
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 30–45 per week, with Saturdays required. Closed Sundays
