One of our apparel clients is looking for a photoshop artist to join the team ASAP. This is an ongoing freelance role with no set end date. Fully in office in NYC, 5 days a week. Pays $33-$40/hr, based on years of experience. Must have experience working with retouching specifically for apparel.
The primary role of the Photoshop artist is to retouch and setup templates for the Sports Division. We provide images to our clients of active and outerwear product in different teams. Speed and accuracy is important, as well as the ability to take direction and follow through on assignments. Someone who is detail oriented and a good communicator is necessary.
Photoshop Artist Description:
- Skilled retoucher with ability to work with channels, masks, curves and complex layered files.
- Abilities in color matching, compositing, skin retouching, and product clean up
- Detail-oriented, organized, and has a methodical approach to retouching
- Consistency in image quality and workflow
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams from all levels of the organization.
- Manage and maintain clean file structure, organization and workflow practices.
- Ability to handle high volume of work.
- Skilled in Photoshop & Illustrator
- Knowledge of Bridge, Microsoft Office and Apple software
