Overview
We are seeking a to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a vital role in enhancing the appearance and confidence of our clients while creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon.
Duties
Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and grooming treatments tailored to individual client needs.
Utilize advanced techniques such as hair threading and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
Mentor junior barbers and trainees, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Maintain knowledge of color theory to assist clients with color services and recommendations.
Utilize salon software, including MINDBODY, for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance the overall client experience and contribute to salon growth.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and salon areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage store operations effectively during shifts, ensuring a smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
Requirements
Proven with a valid barber license or certification.
Strong skills in mentoring others and providing guidance within the team.
Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY is preferred.
Knowledge of hair threading techniques is an advantage.
Ability to apply makeup as needed for clients is desirable.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques is beneficial.
A solid understanding of color theory related to hair services.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
