Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy, business growth, and revenue generation for Grupo Dani García venues in Madrid and Barcelona. This individual will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, event organisers, and key partners, ensuring that our venues are used for group dining, private events, and business functions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality sales, a good understanding of the Madrid and Barcelona markets with proven success in driving corporate and group sales within the restaurant and events sector. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Global Head of Sales to ensure continued success and growth of group sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and target new business opportunities within the corporate, events, and private dining sectors, focusing on high-value clients and partnerships.

Maintain and build strong relationships with key corporate clients, event planners, agencies, and partners.

Drive sales to meet revenue targets for group bookings.

Identify opportunities to host high-profile events or collaborations to increase visibility and attract new business.

Client Relationship Management:

Manage a portfolio of key clients and prospects, ensuring their needs are met.

Be the primary point of contact for VIP clients and corporate groups.

Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business growth.

Provide reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.

Marketing Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to support execution of promotional campaigns aimed at attracting corporate clients and private events.

Support with the development of event-specific packages and promotions for holidays, local festivals, and major events (e.g. MWC, fashion week).

Event Management:

Oversee the management of large-scale events, private dining, and corporate bookings, ensuring a smooth journey from enquiry to post-event follow-up.

Collaborate with the operations and events teams to ensure that client needs are met and the event runs seamlessly.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

Work closely with the Head of Sales, South Sales Manager & Guest Relations Manager to align strategies.

Provide detailed reporting on sales activities, client meetings, bookings, and event successes, ensuring that sales KPI’s are being met.

Track performance metrics and provide insights to improve sales efforts and revenue streams.

Monitor trends and developments in the Madrid and Barcelona hospitality markets, particularly within the high-end dining and corporate event sectors.

Analyse competitor offerings and pricing, recommending adjustments to sales strategy to stay competitive and innovative.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

Experience within the hospitality industry or events sectors.

Proven track record of successfully managing corporate accounts, driving revenue through private dining and events and exceeding sales targets.

Strong network within the Madrid hospitality, events, and corporate sectors.

Skills:

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
