What You’ll Be Doing:
Manage processes:Lead the direction, design and development of a line that supports the brand essence, ensuring brand differentiation and business strategies through innovation, creative leadership and a strong understanding of brand positioning. Develop strategic plan for the development of new and innovative products that align with brand vision
Contribute to expansion:Contribute to the development of the long term and short-term product and financial roadmap to achieve significant business results. Provide direction and development for team through coaching and performance management.
Executive direction:Execute direction from senior leadership and communicate direction to wider team to ensure team alignment. Translating business strategies into product opportunities. Promote speed to market concepts and maximize merchandising opportunities through design and development
Drive brand results: Leverage all available data points (trends, competitive landscape, channel feedback, customer insights, commercial innovation) to identify new product and category opportunities to achieve long range growth plans. Create product strategies to target key demographics and specific customer segments to maximize growth opportunities.
Team collaboration:Partner with Sales to ensure product line supports channel and account strategy and seasonal forecasts reflect product initiatives. Drive communication with divisional partners to ensure product functions, packaging needs, and any point of sale digitally or instore is catered to.
Product management:Direct sampling, prototyping and inspection of products, identifying issues in design, construction, or manufacturing. Develop solutions to deliver proven and tested product that addresses function and fit, while taking necessary action to address pricing/margins in the different development phases.
