Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Merchandising/Buyer at CASA Unlimited Enterprises, Inc., located in Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities include overseeing merchandising strategies, developing and executing sales plans, managing inventory levels, curating product assortments that align with customer preferences, and conducting data-driven analysis to enhance performance. The role involves collaborating with vendors, identifying market trends, and ensuring that retail locations consistently meet CASA’s high standards for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales data, consumer trends, and market opportunities.
- Proven expertise in sales and strategic planning to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies.
- Experience in inventory management and ensuring optimal stock levels across multiple retail locations.
- Knowledge of assortment planning to tailor product selections to diverse customer needs and preferences.
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with retail metrics and data analytics tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in merchandising, buying, or retail management roles.
