Role Overview
The Director of Operations at Heretic Parfum is entrusted with overseeing the day-to-day operations, safety, and infrastructure of our production, warehouse, and office facilities. This role ensures that every physical aspect of our operations reflects the provocative, creative, and non-conformist identity of Heretic Parfum. This position is critical to supporting a luxury-standard environment that enables operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and consistent brand expression on a rapidly scaling business.
Job Responsibilities
Production and Fulfillment Management:
- Oversee daily operations of production, warehousing, fulfillment, and office environments
- Lead and manage production, fulfillment, and facilities team members and staffing
- Maintain visual and operational standards aligned with luxury brand aesthetics
- Manage all inbound receiving, storage and movement of production components, finished goods, and supplies
- Ensure accurate and timely production and fulfillment of orders across multiple channels including DTC, wholesale, TikTok, and Amazon
Facility Management:
- Schedule and supervise maintenance,VAC, janitorial, pest control, and security contractors for the overall facility including office, warehouse, and storage locations
- Ensure ergonomic, efficient, and scalable space utilization
- Support inventory flow through physical layout optimization and production-readiness schedules
- Champion zero-waste policies and environmentally responsible facility protocols
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA regulations, and Delaware corporate obligations.
- Conduct and document regular safety audits, emergency drills, and hazardous material storage inspections (including VOCs and flammables)
- Maintain SDS records, signage, and safety training programs
- Monitor temperature and air quality systems for ingredient preservation and regulatory compliance
Vendor & Contractor Oversight:
- Source, vet, and manage facilities and fulfillment- related contractors and vendors with an eye toward quality and reliability
- Maintain compliance records, contracts, insurance verifications, and performance benchmarks for all vendors
- Ensure project execution (renovations, upgrades, installations) meets schedule, budget, and aesthetic goals
Culture & Compliance Integration:
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and well-maintained workspace for all departments
- Collaborate with HR to ensure facility readiness for employee onboarding and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of operations leadership experience, preferably in luxury beauty, fashion, or consumer products
- Experience in scaling premium consumer brands in the $5M–$50M+ revenue range
- Deep understanding of omni-channel operations
- Outstanding leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
