Position Summary

We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven Director of Supply Chain Management to build, scale, and optimize Kreassive’s North American logistics and supply chain network. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leadership role will act as the architect of our cross-border operations (Asia to US/Canada).

The Director will lead 3PL partnerships, global freight strategy, US/Canada customs compliance (including FDA/MoCRA), and inventory orchestration across omni-channel platforms. The ideal candidate must be a proactive leader capable of synchronizing high-volume B2B wholesale fulfillment, fast-paced e-commerce distribution, and time-sensitive pop-up retail logistics.

Key Details

  • Job Title: Director of Supply Chain Management
  • Department: Supply Chain Management
  • Reports To: CEO
  • FLSA Status: Exempt (Full-Time)
  • Pay Range: $130,000 – $160,000 /year
  • Location: Torrance, CA (HQ) with regular visits to Warehouse, 3PL sites and pop-up locations

Key Responsibilities

Global Supply Chain Strategy & Network Design

  • Strategic Roadmap: Design and execute a scalable SCM strategy aligning with Kreassive’s rapid expansion into North American B2B retail (Costco, local boutiques, spas) and mega-platform D2C (Amazon FBA, TikTok Shop).
  • FOB & DDP Logistics Mastery: Develop competitive and flexible shipping terms (FOB & DDP options) for wholesale clients, ensuring transparent landed costs and minimized lead times.
  • TDMS Integration: Spearhead the localization and integration of Cheongdam Global’s TDMS into the US infrastructure to provide real-time inventory visibility and automated order routing.

3PL, Freight & Vendor Management

  • Contract Negotiation: Lead high-level negotiations with global freight forwarders, ocean/air carriers, and multi-node 3PL fulfillment centers across the US and Canada.
  • Performance Optimization: Establish stringent SLAs and KPIs for 3PL partners to drive down cost-per-order (CPO), reduce picking errors, and optimize warehousing footprint (storage vs. throughput).
  • Cross-Border P&L: Own the SCM budget, continuously analyzing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to improve gross margins amidst fluctuating freight rates and tariff structures.

Omni-Channel & Pop-up Retail Logistics

  • Pop-Up Supply Chain Execution: Architect highly responsive “just-in-time” logistics for physical experiential retail (e.g., Del Amo Fashion Center, Buena Park, SF, and Canadian markets). Ensure zero stock-outs during high-traffic events.
  • B2B & D2C Fulfillment: Oversee distinct fulfillment architectures for bulk B2B wholesale pallets, automated D2C parcel shipments, and complex retail routing guides.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Mitigation

  • FDA/MoCRA & Health Canada: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for cross-border trade compliance. Ensure all K-Beauty/C-Beauty imports meet the latest FDA MoCRA (Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act) requirements, ingredient labeling laws, and Health Canada standards.
  • Customs Clearance Mastery: Proactively resolve port delays, CBP holds, and tariff classifications to maintain a frictionless flow of goods.

Team Leadership & Organizational Growth

  • Mentorship: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of SCM Managers and Logistics Specialists.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Accounting departments to align Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and accurate demand forecasting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 7+ years of extensive supply chain/logistics experience, with at least 4+ years in a Senior Management or Director-level role.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep background in Beauty/Cosmetics, CPG, or cross-border E-commerce. Proven experience managing logistics for K-Beauty or Asian import brands is highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Authoritative knowledge of US Customs, FDA (MoCRA), and international trade compliance.
  • Native or high-level professional fluency in English and Korean
  • Deep understanding of Amazon FBA/FBM dynamics, TikTok Shop fulfillment, and EDI setups for major retailers.
  • Certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent executive SCM credentials.
  • Experience managing operations in both the United States and Canada (CUSMA/USMCA).

Benefits & Compensation

  • Comprehensive Compensation Package (Base + Eligible Performance-based Bonus)
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (Fully covered for employee)
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan with generous Company Match
  • Generous Paid Time Off
