Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater St. Louis for a Director of Wholesale Sales & Operations. We are seeking a Director of Wholesale Sales & Operations to lead and scale our wholesale business across the United States, driving growth in premium boutiques, specialty retailers, and luxury hospitality channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and scale a national network of independent sales representatives across key markets
- Drive revenue growth through strategic account development and deep relationships with top-tier retailers
- Establish and manage performance metrics across regions, accounts, and channels
- Utilize BI and AI-driven insights to forecast demand, identify trends, and optimize inventory and sales performance
- Represent Royal Highnies at major trade shows, market events, and key retail engagements
- Implement and optimize wholesale platforms (e.g., NuOrder, Shopify integrations) to enhance the retailer experience
- Partner closely with Marketing to deliver best-in-class sales materials, seasonal assets, and POP displays
- Streamline operations and improve internal processes to ensure a seamless experience for retail partners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in apparel wholesale, retail, or related industries
- Proven success managing independent reps or multi-region sales teams
- Strong relationships within boutique and premium retail channels preferred
- Experience with modern commerce platforms, BI tools, and data-driven decision making
- Highly analytical, strategic, and execution-focused
- St. Louis Based
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
- Demonstrated success in navigating the wholesale or retail sales landscape
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150,000 – $175,000
- Commission + performance-based bonus tied to revenue and profitability
