JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Mission
As aDistribution Planner, SEAO, you will support the company meeting its growth business objectives by optimizing in store product availability and sell through. The main mission of the Distribution Planner is to ensure the perfect allocation of seasonal and permanent products in store, including rebalancing inventory within SEAO and cross regions. The Distribution Planner is in constant contact with local and HQ Retail, Merchandising, and Supply Chain/Transport teams to ensure timely launch of the collection in store, continuous improvement of the replenishment process, and maximum effectiveness of the inventory.
Key Responsibilities
In close collaboration with Merchandising, guarantee effective and timely collection launches in store and constantly monitor product availability both in warehouse and in store
Manage daily distribution of seasonal and permanent products, securing allocation priorities based on the latest market needs, and including fair share replenishment in case of shortage
Ensure rightsized stock coverage in each store/country, monitor regional stock levels and propose adjustments, including rebalancing between stores/countries
Identify the best shipping flows and frequencies to improve country/store service level, and support the optimization of shipping and transportation total lead time
Anticipate variations of retail demand (store openings, sales peaks, warehouse closures, etc.)
Constantly monitor target stock levels (by item/store) in order to optimize in store availability of our best-sellers
Perform regular stock on hand analyses and propose corrective actions if necessary (transfers, pushes, etc.)
Provide visibility to central and regional counterparts of product delivery, availability and incoming shipments
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or Engineering
2 years working experience in distribution planning with solid knowledge of replenishment models in the fashion industry
Results oriented and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions, the ideal candidate must possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals
Understanding and mastery of the main KPIs in inventory management: Target Stock, Stock Coverage and Fair Share
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with high level of accuracy
Excellent proficiency in Excel, and Power BI, knowledge of distribution tools would be a plus
Proactive, solid interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
