We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual as a District Manager to drive profitable sales and engage a team of Associates. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in fashion/swimwear, a background in retail, a positive attitude and ability to build and maintain relationships.

JOB DESCRIPTION

District Sales Managers are required to have a thorough understanding of retail trends, customer engagement, building high-performing teams, merchandise/product, and EBW customer base. They are required to possess a high level of communication skills, strong analytical skills, and be effective problem solvers. District Sales Managers hire, train, and develop their management teams. Other responsibilities include ensuring district-wide customer satisfaction while managing the district’s financial performance. District Sales Managers must be able to champion the importance of a talented and diverse workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage sales and expenses to optimize results

Maintain staffing levels consistent with business needs to ensure excellent customer service

Ensure adequate shift coverage and scheduling to business needs including covering shifts if scheduled Associate is unable to work

Provide ongoing and timely feedback to Associates to establish accountability

Develop management team

Maintain brand standards around cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation standards

Support a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and open communication

Demonstrate clear understanding of sales goals and align behaviors accordingly

QUALIFICATIONS

5-7 years of experience in retail sales

5+ years in retail management, preferably multi-unit experience

Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License

Open availability to include nights, weekends, and holidays – overnight travel will be required regularly and may extend up to 7 days

Effective customer engagement skills

Basic merchandising and visual skills

High level interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to hire, develop, train, and inspire all level of Associates

Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision

Physical requirements include ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift; climb a ladder and lift a minimum of 10 pounds

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must be fluent in English (speak, read, write)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
