The Role 

We’re looking for an eCommerce Assistant to join our small, close-knit team in Sydney. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone at the beginning of their career or a recent graduate who has gained practical experience through internships, university placements or part-time roles. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely eager to learn the operational side of ecommerce and fashion retail. 

You’ll gain hands-on experience across all aspects of the business, including merchandising, order fulfilment, vendor management and customer service, while working closely with a supportive team in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Prepare products to go live in our backend system — uploading imagery, setting ecommerce attributes, cross-checking/writing copy, category mapping and shipping rules 
  • Submit product imagery for resizing after sourcing from brands 
  • Carry out order fulfilment and ordering packaging supplies 
  • Carry out daily maintenance of our Shopify store, including merchandising collections and managing returns and cancelled orders 
  • Support customer service across email and chat 
  • Assist with vendor onboarding — sourcing product information and imagery from brands 
  • Liaise with brands to gather information on fabrications, certifications, supply chain and sustainability credentials 
  • What We’re Looking For 

    We’re happy to train the right person. What matters most is intelligence, curiosity, initiative and a strong work ethic. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who has gained some practical experience through an internship, part-time retail or ecommerce role, or relevant university study, and is excited to learn in a hands-on environment. 

    Essential 

    • Undergraduate degree 

    Desirable (but not essential) 

    • Working knowledge of Shopify 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and Teams) 
    • Basic familiarity with Searchspring (Athos Commerce) 
    • Basic familiarity with Klaviyo 
    • Basic Adobe Photoshop or InDesign skills (such as resizing images and simple document or photo edits) 
    • Basic familiarity with CapCut
