GANNI IS SEEKING A HIGHLY SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED E-COMMERCE BUYER TO JOIN OUR TEAM AND DRIVE OUR ONLINE RETAIL STRATEGY.Your Mission & Responsibilities Ahead Of YouThe E-Commerce Buyer will manage product selection, procurement, and merchandising for our online store. This role requires a deep understanding of the luxury market, exceptional negotiation and analytical skills, and a keen eye for identifying trends and customer preferences. As the E-Commerce Buyer, you will be expected to bring innovative ideas, leverage your extensive industry knowledge, and drive our product strategy to new heights.

Responsibilities ahead of you:

Buying strategy: Lead product strategy during buying session, share relevant feedback with retail merchandising and prepare the buying sessions.

Identify product needs and request exclusives online

Marketing recommendations: Identify opportunities for product push, newsletter, and paid media activities.

Work in collaboration with E-Merchandising on the marketing calendar to take relevant actions for each category and on defining product guidelines and VM

Weekly meeting: Follow and analyze product performances in each market and work on specific action plans

In charge of OTB framing by collection and by product family in collaboration with the buying team:

Number of styles and net turnover, including tax, discount rate, volume, margin rate, sales price, and leftovers.

Monitor the actual level of commitment vs. the target

Sell-out analyses: Monitor sell out online and lead product action plans together with Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, Marketing, & Supply Chain to support the performances and ensure sales targets are reached

Merchandising and Inventory Management: Curate and manage the online product assortment, ensuring it is aligned with market trends and customer demand. Monitor inventory levels and work with the supply chain team to ensure timely restocking of popular items.

Collection Launches: Follow up on deliveries of new collections, coordinate the launch in alignment with Communication and Merchandising, work on e-merchandising and VM guidelines

Market Analysis and Trend Identification: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed purchasing decisions and anticipate customer needs.

Must Have Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buying role, preferably within the luxury or high-end retail sector.

Proven track record of successful product selection and inventory management in an e-commerce environment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Deep understanding of luxury market trends and consumer behavior.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
