About Abbey Glass
Abbey Glass is an approachable luxury womenswear brand that encourages women to be self-assured in their femininity from the inside out. We lend a playful elegance to women’s wardrobes, giving them an effortless confidence for every occasion. Based in Atlanta, GA, we design every piece from the ground up, combining high-quality fabrics with playful elegance.
The Opportunity
We are a lean, agile team ready to accelerate our growth with a talented best-in-class e-commerce and digital marketing manager. Having established exceptional product-market fit and a deeply loyal community, our e-commerce business has built a strong, profitable foundation. We are now preparing to enter a hyper-growth phase with aggressive, scaling targets over the next five years.
We are looking for a visionary, confident, and data-driven Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our digital storefront and performance marketing ecosystem. You will inherit a mix of internal tools and premium third-party agencies, with the mandate to audit our current setup, bring high-leverage capabilities in-house, and ruthlessly execute the playbook that takes our brand to the next level. For the right candidate, this role is explicitly designed on a rapid track toward a Director and ultimately VP-level position.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Platform Operations & Digital Merchandising
Storefront Ownership: Oversee the daily operations of the Shopify storefront. Ensure the site is functional, fast, mobile-optimized, and reflects the premium, approachable luxury aesthetic of Abbey Glass.
Product Launches & Collections: Lead and manage marketing team to execute the digital product lifecycle. Coordinate with design and production teams to execute flawless collection launches, update product pages (PDPs), write compelling copy, and upload assets.
Visual Merchandising: Strategically organize collection pages, upsells, cross-sells, and homepage layouts based on inventory levels, seasonality, and buying trends to maximize Average Order Value (AOV). Make updates and delegate projects to other marketing team members as needed.
Tech Stack Management: Evaluate, install, and manage Shopify apps and third-party integrations to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Paid Media & Performance Marketing Strategy
Own the Growth Blueprint: Architect and oversee our paid acquisition strategy and partners across Meta, Google, programmatic channels, and emerging platforms to sustainably scale revenue.
Agency Auditing & In-Housing: Serve as the primary internal leader overseeing external marketing vendors. Critically evaluate performance, optimize agency relationships, and strategically transition core capabilities (media buying, copy, creative asset production) in-house as we scale.
Data Analysis & P&L Health: Maintain a rigorous weekly growth dashboard tracking CAC, LTV, Blended ROAS, and Marketing Efficiency Ratio (MER). Make budget allocation decisions based on hard data, not guesswork.
Social Scaling & Algorithmic Distribution
The 300k Milestone: Turn our current baseline of 36k Instagram followers into a highly engaged community of 300k+ followers.
Content & Funnel Engineering: Oversee a short-form video and organic social strategy engineered for massive non-follower reach. Build automated frameworks to seamlessly transition viral social reach into email/SMS subscribers and direct web traffic.
Full-Funnel Optimization & Retention
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Run continuous A/B tests on website landing pages, collections, navigation, and checkout flows to maximize the conversion rate of incoming traffic. In some cases you will be hiring a 3rd party developer to execute.
Retention Marketing: Supercharge our Klaviyo email and SMS automation flows to optimize onboarding, maximize customer lifetime value, and increase our repeat purchase rate.
Growth & Evolution of This Role
We are looking for a long-term leader, not a temporary manager. Because we have aggressive 5-year targets, this role is built for rapid upward mobility:
Clear Path to Leadership: This position is structured to elevate into a Director of Ecommerce with room to move into a Vice President role as you successfully scale the brand and meet revenue milestones.
Build Your Dream Team: You will have the autonomy and backing to build out your own high-performance, in-house team of creatives and media specialists.
What You Bring
You're a strategic digital marketer who lives and breathes digital media, tells a compelling brand story through digital tools, and is relentlessly driven by ecommerce growth.
Experience: 4–6+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance media buying, or ecommerce management—ideally with a proven track record of helping scale a D2C brand from the single-digit millions into the tens of millions. Experience in premium apparel or fashion is highly preferred.
Algorithmic Mastery: A deep, intuitive understanding of the social media algorithms. You know what makes a video hit the Explore page and understand how to engineer content for "shares" rather than just "likes."
Data-Driven Mindset: Proficient with Shopify analytics and apps, Google Analytics, and social platform insights. You make creative decisions based on hard data.
T-Shaped Skillset: You are highly strategic and analytical, but you still possess a sharp eye for visual aesthetics, luxury branding, and copy that converts.
Tools & Tech: Deep, hands-on experience managing a Shopify/Shopify Plus backend (including product CSVs, inventory management, and collection architecture), Klaviyo, Google Analytics (GA4), and Meta Ads Manager.
