Role Description The E-Commerce Imaging Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role supports online sales by preparing, organizing, and managing product images and related digital assets across e-commerce platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating product samples for imaging, assisting with basic image preparation and quality checks, ensuring accurate naming and categorization of files, and updating product listings with correct images and attributes. The E-Commerce Imaging Assistant collaborates closely with e-commerce, merchandising, and sales teams to ensure that visual content is consistent with brand standards and supports a seamless customer experience. The role may also help track imaging timelines, maintain asset libraries, and provide general support for online promotions and product launches.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to review image performance, identify gaps in product coverage, and support data-driven improvements in e-commerce presentation.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, provide clear updates on imaging status, and follow structured workflows and guidelines.
- Customer Service and Sales awareness to understand how product imagery influences shopper behavior and to support initiatives that enhance online conversion.
- Foundational E-Commerce knowledge, including familiarity with online marketplaces, product listings, and digital asset management tools.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple products, file versions, and deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic technical aptitude with imaging or photo-editing software and comfort working with spreadsheets or content management systems.
- Ability to work on-site full time in the New York City Metropolitan Area, managing tasks independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Prior experience in fashion, retail, or e-commerce operations is a plus; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or Communications) is beneficial but not required.
