Job Summary
This hybrid role sits at the crossroads of merchandising, product management, and inventory operations. You’ll manage the buying process, oversee inventory flow, lead product uploads and categorization, and ensure our website functions optimally. A key part of your role will be to analyze sales performance and returns, providing insight that helps shape future buys, markdown strategies, and restock decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising & Planning
Participate in the buy of new collections and recuts with performance analysis
Enter buys into internal systems in a timely manner to ensure on-time production
Create, schedule, and track Purchase Orders (POs) and Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs)
Manage and execute weekly restocks across categories based on sell-through
Support product lifecycle planning from launch to markdown
Analyze sales performance by SKU, category, and return rates to inform buying and merchandising decisions
Use data to recommend recuts, product extensions, and markdown opportunities
Inventory & Operations Management
Maintain optimal inventory levels across all categories to avoid stockouts or excess
Oversee jewelry inventory, receiving processes, and weekly performance reporting
Monitor and replenish shipping supplies as needed
Coordinate trucking and delivery schedules for new inventory
Ensure accurate, up-to-date receiving logs and inventory counts
Site Merchandising & Product Data Oversight
Manage product setup including product pages, tags, collections, thumbnails, and descriptions
Oversee product uploads
Conduct weekly site audits for product errors, broken links, and tagging issues
Maintain the organization and accuracy of product data across all e-commerce listings
Collaborate with creative and marketing teams on homepage banners and visual merchandising
Platform Management & Tools
Oversee and optimize performance of third-party tools including:
Searchspring or Fast Simon (site search and merchandising)
Barilliance, Zigpoll, Luckyorange, Tolstoy, Speedsize
Serve as the point of contact for Dev team for tech issues, platform enhancements, and backend updates
Monitor and report glitches, bugs, or site performance issues
Cross-Functional & Collaborative Responsibilities
Qualifications
Salary $70,000-$75,000
Collaborate on SEO initiatives
Work closely with the creative team on product imagery, thumbnails, and retouching
Provide regular sales and returns reporting
Align product launches with marketing and promotional campaigns
3+ years of experience in e-commerce buying, inventory planning, or digital merchandising
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including interpreting return trends
Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple tools/platforms
Bonus: Familiarity with e-commerce apps, SEO, and digital experience optimization
