E-Commerce Manager Jobs in Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR at PORTS

Title: E-Commerce Manager

Company: PORTS

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR

ABOUT PORTS 1961

Ports 1961 is a luxury ready-to-wear house founded in 1961, designing women’s and men’s collections from its Milan studio and selling them in over 30 markets worldwide. The brand is known for its refined and sophisticated designs — the well-cut coat, the fluid trouser, the shirt that carries a wearer from a morning meeting to a late dinner without a change. Its name was chosen for the places people pass through, and the clothes are built for exactly that: a wardrobe for a life in motion. Originally founded in Canada, the company today employs over 5,000 people globally across offices in Europe, North America and Asia. We seek passionate and talented individuals to join our team and contribute to the future of the brand.

For this role, we are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded E-Commerce Manager to own and operate our digital boutique end-to-end.

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • This is a broad, hands-on role suited to a self-starter who is equally comfortable setting strategy and executing day-to-day operations.
  • You will manage the Ports 1961 online boutique independently — from uploading product and maintaining the site to driving traffic and analyzing performance.
  • You will bring a working knowledge of digital marketing (social, email, paid media) and will work in close partnership with the marketing team on campaign execution, while reporting to the Senior Operations Director.
  • There is also an opportunity to launch a new brand site within the Group and to see the project through from start to finish.
  • This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious e-commerce professional looking to take full ownership of a luxury digital channel in a lean, agile environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Site Management & Product Operations

  • Upload and maintain the full product catalog — including descriptions, pricing, imagery, and inventory data.
  • Conduct regular site audits to ensure accuracy in product categorization, sizing, and stock availability.
  • Update homepage banners, landing pages, and category pages in line with seasonal campaigns and new arrivals.
  • Coordinate with the creative team to gather, resize, and publish digital assets (photography, campaign imagery, video) on time.

E-Commerce Strategy & Commercial Performance

  • Own the performance of the online boutique — setting targets for revenue, conversion rate, and average order value (AOV).
  • Monitor site analytics daily and translate data into actionable improvements to the shopping experience.
  • Identify and execute conversion rate optimization (CRO) opportunities, including A/B testing of key site pages.
  • Manage pricing and promotional strategies in alignment with the brand’s luxury positioning.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team on the execution of email marketing campaigns, including scheduling, content coordination, and performance tracking.
  • Support paid social and search campaigns by providing product feeds, landing page links, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain the social media product content calendar, ensuring new arrivals and key pieces are featured across digital channels.
  • Monitor SEO performance and flag opportunities for improvement in product copy and site structure.

Customer Experience & Order Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end online customer journey — from product discovery through to post-purchase.
  • Handle customer service escalations related to orders, returns, and product queries in a manner consistent with luxury standards.
  • Liaise with logistics and fulfillment partners to ensure timely, premium delivery experiences.
  • Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the online boutique experience.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce weekly and monthly e-commerce performance reports covering traffic, conversion, revenue, and top-selling products.
  • Use Google Analytics and platform dashboards to identify trends and present insights to the Senior Operations Director and the marketing team.
  • Track the impact of marketing campaigns on site traffic and sales, providing clear post-campaign analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Fashion, or a related field.
  • 5 years+ of hands-on e-commerce experience, ideally within luxury fashion, premium retail, or a lifestyle brand.
  • Proficiency with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Shopify Plus, or Magento. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp), paid social basics, and SEO fundamentals.
  • Comfortable with Google Analytics and Excel/Google Sheets for reporting, data tracking, and performance analysis.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented. Brings a strong sense of brand aesthetics and the ability to work independently in a lean team.
