The Candidate:
A hands-on image specialist with a sharp visual eye and serious skills in Photoshop (or equivalent). Your mission? Own and optimize the images that sell our tours—especially thumbnails and sliders. From cropping to color correction, this is a role for someone who can turn average images into top performers.
You’ll collaborate with our product and marketing teams to make sure every product page and category page looks polished, on-brand, and conversion-ready. If you know how to make visuals click, this one’s for you.
Desired Experience
2+ years working in e-commerce as photo retoucher
2+ years using a CMS (WordPress preferred) for visual QA and uploads
1+ years optimizing thumbnails or sliders to improve page performance (CTR, bounce, speed)
Desired Skills/Applications:
Expert in Photoshop; strong skills in Canva, Figma, or Lightroom
Proficient with WordPress, Excel, OneDrive, Dropbox
Understanding of naming conventions, image compression, and web formatting
Comfortable enforcing brand presets and visual standards
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Thumbnail & Visual Optimization
Create and QA thumbnails that improve click-through rate
Optimize sliders to align with the user journey and experience sold
Replace underperforming or off-brand images across product/category pages
Image Editing & Brand Consistency
Edit photos to match brand tone (color, brightness, filters, presets)
Crop, resize, and prep all files to meet technical upload specs
Apply consistent naming, sizing, and formatting
Asset Management & Systems
Build and maintain a clean, scalable image library
Coordinate with photographers and freelancers to gather and store content
Ensure images are never the bottleneck to publishing new SKUs
