About The Role

We are an online jewellery brand looking for an experienced E-Commerce Website Manager to own and run our online store. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our website,product listings, site merchandising, and performance optimization. The role requires someone hands-on with e-commerce platforms, comfortable with both the technical and commercial sides of running an online store.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Store Management

  • Manage the Shopify store: product listings, content updates, navigation, site merchandising,and promotional banners.
  • Ensure accurate product information, pricing, images, and descriptions across all pages.
  • Coordinate with the design and development teams for website changes, new features, and

bug fixes.

  • Monitor site performance (page load speed, uptime, checkout flow) and resolve issues

promptly.

  • Manage and configure Shopify, including themes, apps, plugins, and integrations.

Analytics & Performance

  • Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics and other tools.
  • Track and report on key metrics: traffic, conversion rate, average order value, revenue, and

customer acquisition cost.

  • Identify trends and provide data-backed recommendations to improve sales and user

experience.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Coordinate with the marketing team on SEO, SEM, email campaigns, and paid social to

drive traffic to the website.

  • Manage on-site SEO: meta tags, product descriptions, internal linking, and keyword

optimization.

  • Support campaign execution by setting up landing pages, promo codes, and sale events on

the website.

Inventory & Order Coordination

  • Work with the inventory and operations team to keep stock levels accurate on the website.
  • Monitor order fulfillment, returns, and customer queries related to online orders.

Customer Research & Support

  • Conduct customer research to identify pain points, usability issues, and improvement

opportunities on the website.

  • Plan and carry out user interviews to gather qualitative feedback on the shopping

experience.

  • Translate customer insights into actionable website changes in collaboration with design

and tech teams.

  • Handle or oversee customer support for online orders, including queries, complaints, and

returns.

  • Monitor customer reviews, feedback, and satisfaction trends to flag recurring issues.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience managing an e-commerce website or online store.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify, including themes, apps, and store configuration.
  • Comfortable with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and basic SEO practices.
  • Familiarity with product catalog management, including photography coordination and

content creation.

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (enough to make minor site edits).
  • Strong attention to detail, especially around product data accuracy and site QA.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating across design, tech, marketing, and operations

teams.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Prior experience in jewellery, fashion, or lifestyle e-commerce.
  • Experience with tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Hotjar.
  • Familiarity with paid advertising on Meta/Facebook.
  • Experience with data tools like Excel (advanced.
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, WebEngage, etc.).
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, or LeadSquared.
