About The Job

The E-Merchandiser leads the execution of the digital merchandising strategy for designated categories across LV.com and the LV App for the South Asia region, with the objective of strengthening product visibility, supporting online conversion, and elevating the client journey.

This role contributes to product launch execution, content management, and online performance optimization, working closely with Merchandising, Supply, Client Service, CRM, IT, and Communication teams across Regional and Central functions.

The ideal candidate combines attention to detail, a strong analytical mindset, commercial sensitivity, and a deep understanding of digital retail dynamics.

Job responsibilities

E-merchandising Strategy and Planning

  • Support the execution of the e-merchandising strategy for designated product categories, ensuring alignment with business priorities and commercial targets.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of new product launches, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate online visibility.
  • Influence and guide the Merchandising team’s buying strategy during showrooms, providing critical insights into digital product potential and investment opportunities.

Site Optimization & Customer Experience

  • Curate product visibility and website presentation across key touchpoints, in line with commercial priorities, product launches, and animation plans.
  • Optimize catalog structure, product sorting, recommendations to support conversion and client engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the online shopping journey, including search, navigation, product discoverability, and content accuracy.

Performance Analysis & Insights

  • Monitor product, traffic, and client performance, translating key findings into clear recommendations for e-merchandising actions.
  • Prepare and consolidate reports on sales, traffic, sell-through, product visibility, and online navigation.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, identifying strategic opportunities for innovation, differentiation, and competitive advantage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with regional Supply, Merchandising, CRM, IT, Communications, and Client Service teams to support effective product launches and digital animations.
  • Work with Supply teams to optimize product allocation and replenishment processes, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Share product launch information and selling opportunities with the Client Services team to support client engagement.
  • Coordinate with Central teams on product launches, website updates, and strategic product development initiatives.

Projects

  • Contribute to ad-hoc e-merchandising projects critical for business growth and customer engagement (e.g., significant website enhancements, new market entry strategies).
  • Assist with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for development projects and support the follow-up of fixes or enhancements.

Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital merchandising, ideally within the luxury or fashion sector.
  • Good understanding of fashion consumer behavior and online shopping journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience with e-commerce CMS, product catalog, or back-end platforms.
  • Good presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with tight timelines.
  • Positive, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
  • Strong interest in fashion, luxury, digital retail, and market trends.
  • Fluent in English.
