Parman Exclusive is a 35+ year sterling silver jewellery brand from Chennai, building a sharper, more premium DTC presence online.
We are looking for a full-time Ecommerce Manager to own conversion growth and commercial performance for our Shopify storefront.
This is not a customer support, admin, product listing, or inventory management role.
This role is for someone who understands how a DTC website sells. How customers browse, hesitate, add to cart, drop off, return, and buy again.
Your main responsibility will be to improve website conversion, AOV, revenue per visitor, repeat purchase, and overall ecommerce performance.
Experience in jewellery, fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or premium DTC brands will be a strong advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesConversion Growth & CRO
- Own conversion rate, AOV, revenue per visitor, cart abandonment, and repeat purchase metrics
- Identify where customers are dropping off and what is blocking purchase
- Improve the buying journey from homepage to checkout
- Prioritise CRO experiments and website changes based on revenue impact
- Track whether website changes are improving commercial performance
Shopify Store Experience
- Improve homepage, collection pages, product pages, landing pages, cart, and checkout flow
- Analyse Shopify, GA4, heatmaps, and session recordings to find friction points
- Create clear briefs for PDP improvements, collection changes, landing pages, and new features
- Guide the Shopify developer on what needs to be built and why
- QA website updates before they go live
Ecommerce Merchandising
- Improve product visibility, product discovery, and collection ordering
- Identify which products deserve more visibility based on sales, margin, seasonality, and demand
- Recommend bundles, cross-sells, upsells, and campaign-led merchandising
- Track bestsellers, slow movers, and category opportunities
- Ensure the website is merchandised to sell, not just display products
Analytics & Reporting
- Create weekly and monthly ecommerce performance reports
- Track website revenue, conversion rate, AOV, funnel performance, product performance, and collection performance
- Read data across Shopify, GA4, and customer behaviour tools
- Share clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Turn ecommerce data into business decisions
Retention & Repeat Purchase
- Build strategies to improve repeat purchase and customer lifetime value
- Work on email, WhatsApp, loyalty, and post-purchase journeys
- Identify opportunities for customer reactivation and repeat buying
- Coordinate with internal teams and growth partners to execute retention initiatives
Cross-functional Execution
- Work closely with founders, brand, design, copy, operations, growth partners, and Shopify developers
- Translate business goals into website improvements
- Prioritise tasks based on conversion and revenue impact
- Ensure ecommerce decisions are executed clearly and quickly
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in ecommerce, DTC, Shopify, CRO, digital merchandising, or online retail growth
- Strong understanding of Shopify and DTC customer journeys
- Proven ability to improve conversion, AOV, revenue, retention, or website performance
- Experience with Shopify Analytics, GA4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar tools
- Ability to read data and translate it into clear actions
- Strong sense of merchandising, product visibility, customer behaviour, and conversion
- Experience working with developers, designers, marketers, copywriters, founders, and agencies
- Clear communication, commercial thinking, and strong execution
- Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
