Senior Ecommerce Manager
The senior Ecommerce manager is responsible for managing and operating the company’s e-commerce business unit, identifying strategies for efficient customer journey, and optimizing the Ecommerce website and tools that are related to the D2C business.
Responsibilities
Trading:
Plan and execute the online sales calendar and align customer journey on the website to meet these goals
Partner with the commerce director to formulate e commerce strategy Ownership of the online sales platform; delivering the roadmap for the channel, and ensuring it is maintained and continuously optimized.
Drive sales, conversion, margin, inventory turn, site optimization and manage web KPI’s (category conversion, Average Order Value, bounce rate)
Work closely with marketing team to Create and deliver trading recommendations, utilizing the promotional trading plans that will achieve the overall company objectives
Proactively reviewing daily and weekly performance identifying areas of opportunity and improvement, proposing actions and communicating findings to key stakeholders
Digital Reporting & Analysis:
Work with the Data department to optimize the knowledge of the trading performance
Report on daily, weekly and monthly sales
Support the business in understanding key sales drivers and opportunities
Track sales performance vs budget and forecast monthly online demand
Merchandising:
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on goals, objectives & timelines on eCommerce product launches.
Manage Work alongside the merchandise team and ecommerce coordinator to ensure the range is effectively visually merchandised onsite in line with range hierarchy, best sellers and slow movers.
Set up pricing rules and implement price changes as required
Add new products to the website and SAP
Customer UX:
Ownership of optimizing the customer journey & product across D2C website
Work closely with the marketing department to provide develop a seamless and relevant landing experience from a variety of channels and campaigns whilst leveraging traffic in well-optimized areas.
Working closely with the tech and creative team to further improve the ecommerce experience through UX changes, prioritizing based on the size of the opportunity.
Responsible for staying abreast of site innovations to continuously improve customer journey.
Conduct user tests on new digital & eCommerce releases to gather qualitative feedback to drive the product roadmap & optimize the user experience across desktop, tablet & mobile.
Coordinate with the marketing team on development and implementation of the Storytelling calendar
