Main purpose of the position:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented individual with a strong styling background and has broad knowledge of trends, designers, and brands to join our team. The Editorial Stylist will be responsible for assisting the Editorial Stylists on both Women’s and Men’s Editorial shoots, managing the daily pre-shoot prep, post-production returns, and will have the opportunity to style and execute Revolve/Revolve Own Brand Editorial shoots and special projects.
Position responsibilities and daily tasks:
Support the Editorial Styling team (women’s and men’s) daily for in-house and on location editorial shoots.
Assist the leading stylist with steaming, dressing models, closet organization, packing, and on-set assistance.
Review and familiarize themselves with the styling decks ensuring all looks are being shot as intended
Stay up to date with the latest fashion trends, industry news, and follow the provided seasonal trend/style guides to ensure styling aligns with our brand identity
Contribute to team trend decks and seasonal inspiration
Style Revolve/ Revolve Own Brand Editorials
Collaborate with the Senior stylists on upcoming projects
Participate in style-outs with the Editorial Styling team, VP of Creative, photographers, and Art Directors prior to and day-of the shoot. Must effectively communicate styling vision and creative ideas
Demonstrate proper techniques for styling and preparation of merchandise to minimize damages
Help manage the studio inventory and participate in monthly audits
Maintain tidy styling closest after shoots
Assist in training additional team members
