Build and maintain all costumes at the highest level.

Troubleshoot costume-related problems to maintain show quality at the discretion of Management.

Maintain all costume-related elements as set during the rehearsal period.

Learn and master all assigned equipment, its operation and maintenance procedures.

Maintain an inventory of equipment, equipment accessories, fabrics, fabric accessories, sewing equipment and other items.

Coordinate any work to be done by the costumers including their supervision daily.

Complete all assigned administrative duties.

Qualifications:

You!

Someone that is a graduate of a post-secondary program in theatrical production with a specialty in costume design and production, fashion design, or similar industry experience.

Candidates that are a minimum of 18 years old.

Someone who possesses an understanding of theatrical procedures and practices.

Able to operate industrial and domestic single needle machines, sergers, industrial zig-zag machines, and walking foot machines.

Able to sew with a variety of fabrics including knits.

Proficient in hand sewing.

Basic pattern drafting and manipulation skills.

Able to construct garments using patterns from start to finish with limited supervision.

Experience with airbrush paint, special FX makeup, and making one- and two-piece molds in UltraCal and silicone an asset.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Those who are able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Previous Park experience is an asset.
