As a stylist in our salon, you will be expected to provide comprehensive cutting and coloring knowledge as well as excellent customer service. Salon Vivace provides a number of services including coloring, cutting, styling, extensions, treatments, and spa services to provide our valued clients with the best possible salon experience. We believe in working closely with our clients to understand their desired look by providing personalized recommendations that consider their hair type, face shape, and lifestyle. Our salon takes great pride in upholding high standards of cleanliness and professionalism, and we expect our stylists to do the same.
Salon Vivace is searching for an individual who is outgoing, self-motivated, enthusiastic, maintains a professional appearance, has a passion for delivering high-quality service and a desire to stay up to date on the newest trends and techniques in the industry.
Job Responsibilities include:
Your role as a stylist, is essential in providing clients with an exceptional experience. This includes conducting thorough consultations, delivering excellent customer service, and utilizing your knowledge and expertise when performing all services. Strong interpersonal skills are also critical to your success. Your responsibilities will include:
● Execute hair cutting, coloring, and styling services for clients.
● Recommend hairstyles that accentuate the client’s hair type, face shape, and lifestyle.
● Persuasive selling techniques to educate and encourage clients on hair care products and styling methods to promote healthy hair and scalp.
● Stay current with the latest hair trends and techniques.
● Keep the work environment clean and organized.
● Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
● Manage time effectively.
● Engage in training and educational programs offered by the salon to improve skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements:
● Must have a current license of cosmetology in Pennsylvania
● Existing clientele preferred, but not required
