Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in barbering techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role involves creating stylish haircuts, grooming, and offering personalized consultations to ensure client satisfaction. The Barber will also play an essential role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for all clients.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services using various techniques including straight razor shaving.
Sanitate tools and workstations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Offer expert advice on hairstyles and grooming products tailored to individual client needs.
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.
Assist in retail sales by recommending products that enhance the client’s grooming experience, including upselling services when appropriate.
Mentor junior staff or interns by sharing knowledge and best practices in barbering techniques.
Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records.
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues on store management tasks.
Experience
Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the cosmetology field is preferred.
Familiarity with makeup application is a plus but not required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.
Experience in retail sales, particularly in upselling products or services, is advantageous.
Previous mentoring experience is desirable for those interested in guiding less experienced barbers.
