All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with all laws and regulations, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas policies, practices, and procedures.
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
Provide consistent, professional skincare and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features, and amenities.
Evaluate and educate guests about applicable wellness recommendations.
Ensure facility equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns to the Lead Esthetician and/or Spa Management.
Adhere to esthetics standards pertaining to chemical use, cleaning, and sanitization of equipment.
Perform preparation work, thoroughly clean, and restock room at the end of each shift.
Promote the spa, treatments, services, and retail, as well as any promotions and/or discounts available.
Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest requests.
Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: – Includes but is not limited to:
Provide consistent, professional facials in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
Consult with guests to determine any areas of focus, areas of concern or contraindications. Provide guests with recommendations to continue care after their appointment.
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
Working knowledge of Spa operations.
Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Polished appearance and demeanor.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ensure that required licensing is maintained & updated.
Preferred:
Experience working with Forbes and/or AAA service standards.
Working knowledge of spa booking system(s).
Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
At least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years of experience in Esthetics in a Resort Spa or in a similar or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Nevada Cosmetology License.
