Job Description

Our ideal candidate is articulate, pleasant, dependable and desires an exceptional work culture. Applicant must have a strong capacity to handle varying work tasks including hospitality for events and in-office, phone calls, providing exemplary customer service to clients and prospects, calendar management, managing simple print projects, data entry and scanning, research projects, critical thinking skills and detailed oriented.

The candidate must also be able to engage and create excellent events for our financial services company as we present to prospective clients throughout the greater Dallas region. Being confident and organized while overseeing a fast-paced environment is key.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience

• Financial Industry experience preferred

• 2 + years working in and around live events in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, with excellent ability to prioritize workflow.

• Strong experience with MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly

• Ability to work independently, good time management and critical thinking

• Excellent written and oral communications

• Superior client relations skills

• Ability to handle in-bound and out-bound calls with ease and confidence

This position requires that you possess the following skills:

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication both written and verbal

• Excel at making things fun and inviting for our guests

• Proactive in executing tasks and events as opposed to reactive

Responsibilities/Tasks:

The Event Coordinator will be expected to have consistent follow-through with all efforts, build relationships with prospects and clients, and help prepare the Advisor for successful meetings after the events have happened. Other daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks may include:

• Making reminder calls for events in a welcoming. friendly manner

• Oversee setup and execution of events each month
