The Production Executive (Bangkok based) participates in the production of events. The role reports to the Chief
Operating Officer and collaborates with Creative to supply event production specifics to prospective clients via the Account Management team. When a contract is signed, the Production team takes over the client communication and brings the event to life.
Your core responsibilities
- Supports the Production team with all projects and takes the lead for smaller projects.
- Supports the financial forecasting, planning and sourcing of the internal and external manpower required to deliver projects, including maintaining updated records of freelancer, supplier and vendor rates.
- For smaller projects, manages the end to end timeline of the event to complete projects to a
specific schedule and within the agreed budget.
4. Collaborates with Account Management team to:
- Identify potential upsell opportunities during project delivery.
- Resolve client issues to maintain company reputation and strengthen customer trust.
- Contribute key lessons learnt for completed projects through Top Failures & Knowledge sharing exercise, quarterly.
5. Communicates timely with the management team on the progress of the event.
Your core skills & experience
While there are many skills that will contribute to your success in the role, the following elements in particular are essential to fulfil your role’s purpose of event production.
1.Project Management
You have a successful record of project managing events in Thailand and South-East Asia. Your attention to detail is strong across every element of the project, including financial planning and tracking, presentation and proposal decks, pre and post event planning and execution, and
everything else in between. You effectively manage the project deliverables and stakeholders involved to facilitate experiences that wow the client and their audience.
2.Client Service
You have good customer service and communication skills to work effectively with clients. As the client’s primary Production contact on smaller projects, you deeply understand their objectives and know how to meet them. You also communicate regularly throughout the project timeline to establish ongoing trust and alignment on the event specifics.
3.Collaboration
You have experience of working across teams and work well with Account Management and Creatives to deliver quality work on time.
4.Sourcing
You are experienced with maintaining up to date records of external freelancers, suppliers and vendors. You regularly collate renewed knowledge of what they offer and their associated costs so that the team has access to the latest range of production skills and resources available for hire in the market.
5.Thai & English proficiency required.
6.Past experience in agency environment preferred.
