Job Context:
The Executive / Staff – Shipping and Logistics is responsible for supporting smooth and compliant import, export, and local transportation operations by coordinating shipments, handling clearance and logistics-related payments, and ensuring accurate documentation, cost control, and timely delivery in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import shipment, export shipment & general ground transport handling.
- Import freight, clearance and transport invoice payment handling.
- Export clearance and transport invoice payment handling.
- Import and Export courier payment handling.
- Monthly / Weekly reports, Monthly provision report handling.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on logistics operation experience. (In the apparel sector it would be a value addition).
- Qualification in Accounting & Finance (Diploma/ Certificate course).
- Knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
- Understanding of local customs laws, clearance documentation, and liaison with clearance agents.
- Accuracy in invoice checking, cost comparison, and logistics budget management.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts), and preferably tools like Power BI.
Additional Requirements:
- On-Time shipment delivery rate.
- Customs clearance lead time.
- Invoice accuracy rate & processing time.
- Report submission timeliness includes dashboard.
- Stakeholder feedback (Customers/Local Agents/Internal teams).
