Responsibilities
Provide hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
Utilize techniques such as straight razor cutting, hair threading, and eyelash extensions to enhance client beauty.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon workspace and tools.
Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on hair care and styling products.
Promote retail sales by recommending appropriate products based on individual client needs.
Stay updated on current trends in hair fashion and techniques to ensure high-quality service.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive salon environment that fosters creativity and teamwork.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Familiarity with barbering techniques is a plus.
Skills in nail care are desirable but not mandatory.
Knowledge of retail math and store management practices is beneficial for promoting product sales.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
