Our client is looking for a skilled and charismatic Experienced Barber to join their modern barbershop in Paarl . You will be responsible for providing top-quality haircuts, shaves, and beard trims to a diverse clientele, maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires precision, creativity, and excellent customer service skills to ensure clients leave looking and feeling their best. The ideal candidate is passionate about the art of barbering, stays current with grooming trends, and excels at building rapport with clients, contributing to the shop’s reputation for quality and style in the heart of Paarl .
Key Responsibilities
- Perform classic and contemporary haircuts, fades, trims, and styling for men.
- Provide professional hot towel shaves and beard grooming services with precision and care.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on styles and grooming.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the barber station and the shop.
- Keep tools and equipment in excellent working condition, including sharpening and maintenance.
- Build and maintain a loyal clientele through exceptional service and friendly interaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber , with a portfolio showcasing a range of styles.
- Proficiency in scissor cutting, clipper work, fades, and traditional barbering techniques.
- Knowledge of different hair types and textures, and how to best manage them.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients.
- A passion for grooming and staying updated on the latest barbering trends.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment in Paarl .
