We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furrier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fur restyling and repair with the ability to fabricate high-quality clothing items. Duties
- Operate fur sewing machines to construct garments according to specifications.
- Fabricate clothing items from various types of fabric, ensuring precision and quality in every stitch.
- Perform alterations and repairs on existing garments as needed.
- Collaborate with design teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards before distribution.
- Keep track of materials and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tailor/ Seamstress or in a similar role within the garment industry.
- Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines and tools.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types.
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- A passion for sewing and fashion, with an eye for design aesthetics is preferred.
