We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to support our talented stylists in delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Salon Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the salon’s efficiency and ensuring that every client has a positive experience. We also want someone that wants to learn and be behind the chair.
Duties
Assist stylists with various tasks including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying hair.
Prepare clients for services by providing capes, towels, and other necessary items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations and common areas.
Support retail sales by promoting products and upselling services to clients.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
Stay updated on color theory and hair styling techniques to better assist stylists.
Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to clients’ needs, including offering refreshments and a range of salon amenities, to ensure a top-tier salon experience
Qualifications
Previous experience in a salon environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with salon software is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products and services effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to continuous learning.
Weekends are mandatory!
