We are looking for a creative and innovative hairstylist with 5+ years of experience in haircuts and color. At CutAway, we love discussing and learning about the latest hair trends together. Our salon has a strong client base for fashion colors, balayage, and ombre, so if you’re skilled in these techniques or eager to learn more, you’d be a great fit! Ultimately, we strive as a team to make sure every client enjoys great service and walks out of our salon feeling great about their new look.
Responsibilities
Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment
Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage
Take on walk-in clients
Work full time, Monday – Friday and Sunday.
Skills
Work experience as a Hairstylist, Hairdresser, or Colorist
Hands-on experience with various haircut and coloring techniques
Knowledge of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work in shifts
Valid license from a cosmetology school
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $500.00 – $2,000.00 per week
Schedule:
Every weekend
Monday to Friday
