About The Loc Spa:

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a warm, dependable, and proactive individual to join our team as a Shampoo Assistant/Receptionist — a key support role that enhances both client satisfaction and salon flow.
Position Overview:
This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds — providing relaxing, professional shampoo experiences while managing front desk operations with grace and professionalism. You’ll be the first and last impression for many of our clients, helping to create a seamless and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Shampoo Assistant Duties:
Greet clients and escort them to the shampoo area
Perform gentle yet thorough shampoos, deep conditioning, and scalp massages tailored to loc care
Maintain cleanliness of shampoo stations, towels, and tools
Support locticians with client prep, sanitation, and overall salon flow
Receptionist Duties:
Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism
Manage appointment bookings and confirmations via phone, text, and scheduling software
Respond to client inquiries and provide product or service information
Process payments and maintain accurate daily transaction records
Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, calm, and organized

Prior experience in a salon or customer service role is a plus
Evening and weekend availability required

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.99 – $22.87 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
