The primary function of the Fashion Intern is to help with all aspects of the business side of Dolcessa from inventory to sales order processing. This candidate will organize our merchandise of clothing products by receiving in merchandise, organizing into a bin process, and helping transfer between our different locations. This individual will also help prepare sales orders for our Ecommerce and Las Vegas stores sales channels. We will teach all aspects of retail and ecommerce in the apparel world
Responsibilities
- Support our business needs on all levels from inventory purchasing and receiving, merchandising, distribution, selling, marketing
- Answers company phone, support email inquiries, responds to text messages, and social media messages
- Data entry and record keeping regarding merchandise and inventory
- This candidate will work with Purchase Orders, Packing Lists, Proof of Deliveries, and the different Shipping accounts
- Receive Inventory into Bins and help maintain accurate inventory across all locations
- Assist with inventory functions: Receiving, labeling, ticketing, stocking, physical counts, and inventory transferring
- Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, SKU, descriptions, etc.
- Help process Ecommerce orders
- Help process Retail and Wholesale orders
- Hangs merchandise specific to Dolcessa’s brand standards
- Organizes and maintains the stockroom to Dolcessa’s standards

Qualifications/Requirements
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week (may include weekends for special events and holiday weekends).
- Ideal schedule is 3-5 days per week. We are flexible on start/end hours between 10am-9pm
- Must be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
- Ability to memorize catalog for styles and style names
- Strong people, customer service, and organizational skills
- Proactive, self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset
- Flexibility and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time during summer break
Pay: $12 per hour to start. Will reassess hourly pay as work progresses and skills develop
