Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative FashionAssistant to join the dynamic Daniel Diamond team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about a career in fashion and design who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes, collaborative environment. The right candidate should be savvy by nature and bring a mix of organizational creative flair. You will have the opportunity to grow alongside a forward-thinking fashion brand.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily tasks and administrative responsibilities.
Run errands; must have a vehicle.
Monitor deadlines, followup on pending maters, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Assist with the development and execution of fashion design projects from concept to completion.
Support product management efforts, helping track timelines, samples, and deliverables to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with the styling team by sourcing materials, fabrics, accessories, and props for shoots and client-facing work.
Maintain organized records of designs, samples, production schedules, and related documentation.
Participate in client and B2B meetings or presentations to support sales and brand storytelling efforts.
Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Any creative or administrative task that the owners are unavailable to maintain will, ultimately, become the responsibility of the assistant. These tasks vary so the candidate has to be able to adapt quickly to different responsibilities. (A day may begin with a photoshoot, continue with admin work in our store, and finish with a pop up event.)
Skills & Qualifications
Background or strong interest in product development within the fashion industry.
Understanding of fashion styling principles and ability to help assemble cohesive looks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail; capable of juggling multiple projects.
Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and design platforms like Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. A laptop and cell phone are required. Any paid program required by the brand will be paid for by us.
Bonus
Well-traveled, retail experience, familiar with pop-culture and music trends.
