Duties
- Greet customers warmly, providing exceptional service to foster loyalty and satisfaction
- Assist with visual merchandising efforts, including planogram implementation and store remodeling projects
- Support inventory management through stocking, inventory control, and material handling equipment operation
- Use mobile devices and POS systems to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members on store management tasks such as pricing, merchandising, and cleaning to maintain an inviting shopping environment
- Conduct training and development sessions for new staff on retail sales techniques and store procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth daily operations and achieve sales targets
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in retail or related fields with leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design and branding purposes
- Strong understanding of merchandising principles, including schematics, planograms, and visual merchandising strategies
- Multilingual abilities to connect with diverse customer bases and enhance client communication
- Knowledge of interior design concepts, remodeling processes, and interior styling techniques
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely, including ladder use and heavy lifting techniques
- Excellent organizational skills combined with time management expertise to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Exceptional communication skills for customer service, team collaboration, and training purposes
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing strategies, cash handling accuracy, and inventory control processes
- Experience with retail store management functions such as cashiering, POS operation, stock replenishment, and store cleanliness
