As a Fashion Buyer with our distinguished Client, you will beintegral in shaping the future of the collections.Your role involvesstrategic buying and meticulous data analysis,working in close collaboration with Retail, Logistics, and Finance teams. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and planning, with a strong focus on optimizing sales and key performance indicators across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee buying strategies during sales campaigns, aligning with the group’s strategic goals.
Curate premium assortments for the retail stores and e-commerce platforms, selecting only the finest merchandise.
Forge and nurture robust relationships with luxury brands to bring their exclusive collections to our discerning clientele.
Collaborate with Finance and Planning teams to manage seasonal buying plans.
Conduct thorough quality checks on luxury goods to ensure they align with the Company’s high standards of excellence.
Generate insightful reports that guide the business strategy, keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure successful launches and product promotions.
Regular store visits to gauge customer needs and train staff on product nuances.
Who You Are:
A seasoned professional withat least 5 years of experience in fashion buying, preferably within theluxury retailsector.
A holder of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related fields, withspecialized training in fashion buying or retail management.
Adept in using digital tools and platforms, with a keen understanding ofmarket trends and consumer behavior.
A strong negotiator with impeccable communication skills and a flair for fashion.
Willing to traveland flexible during peak seasons or special fashion events.
