We’re looking for a confident, style savvy Buyer who can authenticate, price, and build relationships with clients while keeping product flowing and selling strong
What You’ll Do
Buying & Product Intake
- Evaluate items brought in by clients and determine what we accept based on brand, condition, seasonality, and demand
- Authenticate and price items across categories (handbags, shoes, apparel, jewelry, accessories)
- Research resale comps and market trends to keep pricing competitive and profitable
- Create a great client experience—professional, friendly, and efficient
- Client Relationships
- Build repeat business with sellers/clients through trust, consistency, and product knowledge
- Communicate clearly about value, condition, and expectations (with tact and confidence)
Sales Floor Support
- Jump in to sell when the store is busy and represent the brand at a high level
- Help guide/mentor sales associates on product knowledge, presentation, and service
- Maintain an eye for what will attract buyers and drive traffic in-store
- Strong computer skills for data entry
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2+ years experience in fashion retail, luxury retail, or a resale/consignment environment
- Strong knowledge of contemporary + luxury brands and what sells
- Confident communicator with excellent customer service instincts
- Comfortable making decisions quickly and explaining them professionally
- Weekend availability is a must
Preferred
- Fashion school, art/fashion coursework, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Familiarity with brands you’d see at Saks, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, etc.
