We are seeking a Consignment Inventory Specialist to support our growing inventory operations within a curated world of designer, contemporary, and luxury fashion for women, men, and children. This role is ideal for someone with a discerning eye, knowledge of fashion brands, and a meticulous approach to organization. Responsibilities include organizing the merchandise received by consignors based on resale value, checking inventories for discrepancies, and conveying necessary information to the data entry team. Deliveries arrive daily and the inventory team assists in organizing, moving, and sorting through product received. The inventory specialist will work closely with the data entry team to ensure that there are no gaps in workflow.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating resale prices
Controlling product flow to Data Entry team
Communicating with management about any inventory issues
Work with management if products are damaged or missing within a shipment
Scanning and organizing new and aged inventory
Support cross-functional departments as needed based on business demand
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Understanding of operational urgency
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong fashion and brand knowledge
Comfortable with lifting (up to 40 pounds)
Standing 7+ hours a day
Professional and positive attitude
Experience in retail required
Salesforce Experience, preferred but not required
Experience in consignment, preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
