Key Responsibilities
Research & Discovery
Identify emerging and established fashion/art/design talent across regions (especially non-obvious places).
Track key schools, collectives, boutiques, markets, and residencies producing standout creators.
Follow local scenes via social media, digital publications, and community forums.
Trend & Culture Tracking
Monitor design trends, color stories, and cultural moments influencing creators today.
Surface patterns in what’s resonating regionally or nationally.
Artist & Brand Vetting
Evaluate product quality, originality, ethical practices, and storytelling fit with MAFF.
Prepare moodboards or short writeups to recommend creators for MAFF onboarding.
Outreach & First Contact
Help draft personalized outreach emails/messages to potential collaborators.
Maintain a tracker of contacted creators, responses, and stage in the pipeline.
Curation Support
Assist in selecting products or collections for seasonal MAFF drops or editorial features.
Support digital merchandising—recommend groupings by theme, vibe, color, or story.
Request and organize images, videos, and bios from featured creators for use on the MAFF site and socials.
Ideal Profile
